JC and his (Now Ex) Girlfriend

Joshua Charles "JC/Jay" Watson (born April 2, 2001) is a minor character of TheAngryGrandpaShow and the first of Angry Grandpa's grandchildren. He is the oldest son of Jennifer Green and Joshua Watson. His three younger siblings are Jimmy, Johnny and Jacob.

Description[]

Jennifer was 17 when she gave birth to JC.

Jennifer was seven months pregnant with him when she went into preterm labor. It’s presumed he was named after his deadbeat father Joshua, who never partook in his life since he ran out on his mother and married another woman, leaving Jennifer depressed and struggling to support him and his brothers. Angry Grandpa stepped in and decided to look after the kids, taking custody over them until his death in 2017.

Ever since his uncle Michael started the TheAngryGrandpaShow, GrandpasCorner and KidBehindACamera channels, he has appeared in many videos serving as the minor character. He often hung out at Grandpa's house playing on Michael's Xbox 360 or on Grandpa's laptop and based on implications in Michael’s vlogs, he was presumed to have a hard time in school, usually falling asleep and throwing books around.

    • Was known to be the most annoying and ungrateful child out of the four as stated by Angry Grandpa.
    • JC was known to act camera shy.
    • He used to get in trouble at school as mentioned in the possum stew prank.
    • Though still unsubstantiated, many believe that JC suffers from Asperger’s. One vlog in September 2015, Michael mutters for a brief second or two, "leave him alone, he has Asperger’s". Although this is the only form of evidence that JC is autistic, fans are not surprised by the fact and often point out this theory in the comment section.
    • Like his brothers, he calls Michael "Mike".
    • Loves playing the Xbox 360 with his brothers.
    • He has a good relationship with his Uncle Michael, but an on and off relationship with his Grandpa.
    • Refers to Angry Grandpa as "Poppa".
    • When The Angry Grandpa Show received an award from YouTube for reaching 100,000 subscribers, J.C. gave two thumbs up to the camera, congratulating the show.
    • He helped record one of the "Cooking with Grandpa" videos, when Grandpa was making the mini pizzas.
    • For his 13th birthday, Mike took him to GameStop to get his birthday presents such as a new Xbox 360 game, controller and some cupcakes. He also received $40 from Tina, which was more than what Grandpa gave.
    • JC was known to be scared of Michael Myers.
    • JC had a girlfriend, but was never depicted in the vlogs. She was brought up when Michael talked to JC about him (JC) and Grandpa having "The Talk".
      • Her first appearance was in one of Charles' videos. Her name went by Kaitlyn Conover and she claimed that the two were planning to start a YouTube channel. Their 'Ship name' was "Jolyn". 'Jo' for "Josh" and "Lyn" for her name, Kaitlyn.) She has 2 YouTube channels, one verified by Jennifer (which appears to be her main account), while her mostly unused alternate account is named Kaitlyn Conover.
      • She also appeared in one of Jennifer's videos made just days later, which indicated the possibility of appearing in more videos on Jennifer's channel. She also had watched many of Jennifer's live streams.
      • She broke up with JC sometime around March 3rd, 2018. As Jennifer announced on a livestream. Kaitlyn tried to expose them in a sense she was bullying JC. Thus, Jennifer had her blocked off her YouTube channel.
    • On one of Jennifer's livestreams in March 9th, 2018, Jennifer mentioned about how JC got suspended from school because he skipped out on in school suspension. He was acting out in school, likely from the fact he and Kaitlyn broke up, which was clarified within the same video. While Jen claimed in the stream that she would private the video, it is still public. Kaitlyn also mentioned things about "exposing them" and said mean things, which by then, the moderators of the stream (per Jennifer's request) had her removed from the stream, then Jennifer wanted her blocked from the channel. She claimed not to know why they broke up, which she chalked up to "Child, teenage stuff, that's all."
    • He was mentally abused by Doug West (along with his brothers) following the death of Angry Grandpa, which resulted in Jennifer and Michael cutting ties with Doug.
    • On September 5, 2020, he went missing along with his girlfriend. As of September 8, 2020, both have been found and was living with Jennifer, awaiting a court date. Contrary to popular belief, JC wasn't arrested, as Jennifer recalled that when the police found him, he tried to run away from them and got tasered. He was hospitalized and then returned home.     • JC was arrested again in late September 2020 for assaulting his mother and Johnny in front of the police, as revealed in this vlog. It was around that same time Jennifer and her brother, Michael, decided to not bail him out and have him serve time in jail to learn a lesson after getting arrested numerous times. He was later released on February 11, 2021 in this vlog.
    • On March 6, 2021, JC moved in with his Uncle Charlie Green to get his life back on track, which marked the first time they have reunited since 2017.
      • He returned briefly for his 20th birthday in this vlog, before moving out two weeks later from Charlie Green’s house to live with his grandmother, Tina Green.
